Kim Sejeong Feels Awkward With Zico After Success Of “Flower Road”
Kim Sejeong revealed during the pre-recording of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” that she now feels awkward with Block B’s Zico.
The I.O.I and gugudan member first registered her excitement to be on “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook,” saying it was a program that she absolutely had to appear on. She also surprised everyone when she said that her childhood dream was to be a trot singer. Despite her young age, however, she delivered such an excellent rendition of Shim Soo Bong’s “I Don’t Know Anything But Love” that the audience gave her a rousing applause.
Kim Sejeong is currently amidst promotions for her chart-topping solo track “Flower Road.” The song was also a hot topic as it was produced by Zico while on the KBS show “Talents For Sale” after he listened to Kim Sejeong’s story about her mother. Kim Sejeong said, “I met up with Zico after the song got first place, but [I think] since the song did well, it got awkward.”
Self-producing idols SEVENTEEN also appeared on the episode to perform “BOOMBOOM” in full for the first time on broadcast. The episode, which will air on December 10, also featured veteran singer Jeon In Kwon, Kim Pil of “Superstar K6,” Urban Zakapa, and actor Byun Yo Han.
