B1A4's Jinyoung Reveals Why He Was Worried About Umbrella Scene In "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds"

On the broadcast of MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Hope Song at Noon” on December 22, B1A4 appeared and shared what they’ve been up to.

DJ Kim Shin Young asked CNU, “I heard there was competition between [‘A Lie’] and [your] self-composed song ‘Nightmare’ for the title song spot. Aren’t you disappointed? There must’ve been some hidden tension.”

CNU replied, “There was no such thing. We decided on the title song through a majority vote with the agency employees, and there were many songs to choose from. Since this title song matches with our concept this time, I’ll wait till the right time comes.”

Gongchan and Sandeul, on the other hand, seemed eager for their own song to become the title track, and said, “I think the competition for our next title song will be tough.” The members joked, “Maybe Sandeul’s the only greedy one,” and laughed.

Later, when the MC asked Jinyoung about the umbrella scene in his recent drama “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,” Jinyoung confessed, “Actually, when I first imagined the umbrella scene, I thought of Kang Dong Won. I was so worried that I would get compared to him.”

Kang Dong Won’s scene in 2004 film “Temptation of Wolves” is often lauded by many people as one of the most iconic scenes in the industry.

The members comforted Jinyoung, saying, “[Jinyoung’s] scene was so memorable that it let us forget Kang Dong Won’s umbrella scene.”
