Fans Of Lee Joon Gi And IU Donate To Save The Children

Fans of the lead stars of “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” made a sweet donation to Save the Children just in time for Christmas!

A joint international fan community called Neoui Stargazers (“Your Stargazers”) showed their support for Lee Joon Gi and Lee Ji Eun (IU) through this donation. They have previously worked on organizing fundraisers for various non-profit charity foundations in Lee Joon Gi and/or IU’s name. Many of those who donated are from the Soompi community.

The group also created a widespread fan project video with #ScarletHeartRyeoWasHere. There were over 400 fan contributions from 214 cities in 64 different countries with responses from Korean actors Kim San Ho and Jo Min Ki, who portrayed Crown Prince Wang Mu and King Taejo, respectively, in the drama.

Save the Children is an international charity that focuses on the well-being of children. They reach 185 million children in over 120 countries with various programs in education, emergency response, health and nutrition, HIV and AIDS, hunger and livelihood, newborn and child survival, protecting children, and even U.S. disaster response. Recently, their efforts have also been focused on Aleppo.

The donation to Save the Children was also matched by Johnson&Johnson!
