Cube Entertainment Welcomes New CEO

Shin Dae Nam, ex-chairman of Yedang Entertainment (now known as Banana Culture), is the new CEO of Cube Entertainment.

On December 28, a source from Cube Entertainment explained, “Yesterday morning we held a shareholders meeting and appointed Shin Dae Nam as our new CEO.”

Originally a newspaper reporter, Shin Dae Nam took the seat as Yedang Entertainment’s chairman in 2007. Acknowledged for his contributions to the Korean culture business, he earned himself several awards from the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

The source from Cube added, “We are preparing for a second takeoff with CEO Shin Dae Nam, who has profound knowledge in the media and entertainment fields.”

However, co-founder and chairman Hong Seung Sung will be in charge of the general business management including artist management and production. Chairman Hong expressed, “It is very significant for us to work with someone so competent.”

As of now, Cube Entertainment is home to HyunA, Jang Hyunseung, BTOB, and more.
