SEVENTEEN To Perform Opening Stage For 2016 KBS Song Festival

SEVENTEEN has been chosen to perform the opening for the 2016 KBS Song Festival, to be held at 8:30 p.m. on December 29.

This is particularly meaningful to the group, as previous years’ opening performances were performed by rising stars who went on to hit it big: EXO’s D.O. in 2013, BTS in 2014, and GFRIEND in 2015.

Not only will SEVENTEEN be performing the opening, they will be hitting the stage with legendary group Shinhwa, for what KBS staff described as a never-before-seen collaboration.

2016 KBS Song Festival has an array of great performances lined up, including a ’97-liner group performance, gender swap stages, a collaboration between SHINee’s Taemin and BTS’s Jimin, and more.
