Korean Nurses Association Sends Gift To Show Support For "Romantic Doctor Kim"

“Romantic Doctor Kim” has become a drama recognized by active medical professionals.

The Korean Nurses Association sent their support to the cast and crew of SBS’s “Romantic Doctor Kim” by sending a snack truck on location. The snacks were said to have been a great boost of energy for everyone.

Though it’s common for snack or coffee trucks to be loaned out as gifts, it’s rare for an association to show their support for a specific drama. This can be seen as a show of support and gratitude as the drama has differentiated itself from previous medical dramas by portraying nurses as professional and three-dimensional characters. Head nurse Oh Myung Shim (played by Jin Kyung) and male nurse Park Eun Tak (played by Kim Min Jae) have been showing how important nurses are to a hospital.

The 17th episode of “Romantic Doctor Kim” aired on January 3 with viewership ratings of 25.1 percent, an all-time high. Han Suk Kyu received the Grand Prize award at the 2016 SAF SBS Drama Awards, with Seo Hyun Jin and Yoo Yeon Seok being praised for their performances as well. There are only three episodes left of the drama.
