I.O.I's Agency Reveals Plans For Possible Song Release, With One Potential Track Written By B1A4's Jinyoung

Girl group I.O.I might be returning with one more track!

On January 10, a source from I.O.I’s agency YMC Entertainment revealed, “It’s true that we’ve received a song from B1A4’s Jinyoung, and the recording for the guide has been completed. However, even if they do release an album, we have not yet decided whether this track will be the title track. We have also not decided whether to release Jinyoung’s song through an album or to release it through I.O.I’s concert.”

The source continued, saying, “We are currently receiving a lot of songs from different songwriters. There are no concrete plans for the album release as well as the follow up tracks. We are currently in the process of negotiating.”

Meanwhile, one media source previously reported that I.O.I met with B1A4’s Jinyoung in December and finished recording a new song. Jinyoung previously connected with the I.O.I members through the Mnet show “Produce 101.”

I.O.I is also set to conclude their activities by having a solo concert starting from January 20 to 22.
