"Produce 101" Contestant Kang Sira Names Girls' Generation's Taeyeon As Her Role Model

With only a few days left until her debut album launches, “Produce 101” contestant Kang Sira held a broadcast through V Live on January 11 KST.

Fellow “Produce 101” contestant and I.B.I. member Kim Sohee appeared as a guest, and asked Kang Sira who her role model was.

Kang Sira responded, “From the beginning until the end, my role model will always be Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon. I love her so much.”

She continued, “I was able to sing on the same stage as Taeyeon on ‘Hidden Singer.’ It was such an honor and a completely unforgettable experience.”

Before becoming a “Produce 101” contestant, Kang Sira appeared on JTBC’s “Hidden Singer” for Taeyeon’s episode as an impersonator back in 2014.
