Yoseob Shares Hint Of What Yong Junhyung Prepared For New BEAST Song, To His Amusing Dismay

By now, this is to be expected, but their exchange is still so endearing and funny.

On January 15, BEAST’s Yang Yoseob revealed a recent conversation with fellow member Yong Junhyung about “a new song that Junhyung wrote.”

Yong Junhyung told Yoseob, “It was originally a key lower, but I thought it might be too low for you so I raised it,” and encouraged him.

In a pleading reply, Yoseob wrote, “No, it’s pretty high right now…Try to really think about it. Consider [lowering it] by at least half a key.”

“As expected of [our] main vocal,” Yong Junhyung encouraged again, not taking the bait. As a last ditch attempt, Yoseob wrote “Please,” along with a grinning sticker.

This is not the first time Yang Yoseob and Yong Junhyung have had a similar conversation, but at least one thing is for sure: BEAST’s next song will feature Yang Yoseob’s stellar upper range once more! (Cue LEESSANG’s “I’m Laughing, but Not Really” as background music for poor Yoseob.)

Are you excited to hear this new song, when it’s finally released?
