Girls' Generation's YoonA Reveals Why Her Manager Thought Her Acting Seemed Natural In Debut Film

Girls’ Generation’s YoonA opened up about her big screen debut and her latest role.

The January 15 broadcast of MBC’s “Section TV” caught up with the actors from the movie “Confidential Assignment” (also known as “Cooperation”), Hyun Bin, Yoo Hae Jin, Kim Joo Hyuk and YoonA.

Yoo Hae Jin revealed, “This is YoonA’s first screen debut. She appears as an unemployed sister-in-law [of my character] and shows off a new side to her. I’m looking forward to seeing it.”

YoonA added, “When my manager watched the movie, he said that it didn’t seem like I was acting. I think a lot of it seemed like how I am in every day, real life.”

She continued, “The senior actors made the filming set so comfortable and I think that was the biggest help for me. They gave me a lot of advice and took good care of me.”

“Confidential Assignment” (also known as “Cooperation”) is a film about a North Korean detective and South Korean detective working together on a case to catch a criminal gang. It will premiere to the South Korean public on January 18.
