"The Return Of Superman" Kids Have A Loud Reunion Behind The Scenes Of KBS Entertainment Awards

For the first time in a while, most of the families were able to come together for one giant reunion on the recent episode of “The Return of Superman.”

The January 15 episode of the KBS variety show gathered together all of the children as they prepared to go to the 2016 KBS Entertainment Awards, which were held on December 24, 2016. Although some of the families had met separately before, this was the first time that many of the current families were together in the same room, including the Lee Hwi Jae, Lee Dong Gook, Ki Tae Young, and Lee Beom Soo families.

When Lee Hwi Jae had to briefly leave to prepare for his MC duties, Lee Dong Gook had to watch all of the kids by himself. He was able to entertain them by having them play rock-paper-scissors. When Lee Beom Soo came in with his two children, Da Eul immediately ran to play on the slides with Daebak, his same-aged friend. The entrance of Ki Tae Young with Rohee found Daebak and Rohee reunited again, following their many dates in the past.

The broadcast also gave a behind the scenes look during the awards ceremony, including one nervous moment when Lee Hwi Jae’s cheeky twins decided to crash the stage during the live show! When no one was paying attention, Seo Jun decided to run on stage and after the valiant efforts of many people, including Yoo Jae Suk, the twins were finally carried off stage by comedienne Lee Young Ja!

It was also a successful night for the show, as the show won several awards, including the children taking home the Popularity Award. As soon as their names were called, Seo Eon and Seo Jun ran onstage again to hug their father and the entire cast came up to accept the award.
