"Hwarang" Releases New Stills Showing Seo Ye Ji's First Appearance As Princess Sook Myung

Seo Ye Ji will finally be appearing in the upcoming episode of “Hwarang.”

The actress will be making her entry into the drama as Princess Sook Myung, who is the daughter of Queen Ji So (played by Kim Ji Soo).

After releasing a preview of the upcoming episode, the drama has also released stills showing Seo Ye Ji’s first appearance. The stills show Princess Sook Myung with her hair tied back and armed with a sword, as she approaches the hwarang warriors who are training.

Meanwhile, the preview for the upcoming episode reveals the Queen’s plans to have Sam Maek Jong (played by Park Hyung Sik) and Princess Sook Myung engaged, despite Sam Maek Jong’s growing feelings toward Aro (played by Go Ara). Many are curious to see how the princess’s entry will shake up the hwarang warriors.

Episode nine of “Hwarang” is set to air on January 16.
