GFRIEND Sheds Tears As The Members Talk About Their 2-Year Anniversary

GFRIEND recently celebrated their two-year anniversary!

On January 17, the girl group held a broadcast through Naver V Live in order to celebrate their anniversary with the fans. During the broadcast, the members showcased the gifts that fans had given them.

One fan gifted GFRIEND with cupcakes that represented all of the stage outfits for “Me Gustas Tu,” “Rough,” and “Navillera.” Another fan gave them handmade dolls that highlighted each of the members’ characteristics and expressions. GFRIEND also received a blue five-tier cake, and the members gathered together to sing their debut track “Glass Bead.”

Finally, each member was asked to do an innocent and sincere love confession. As each of the members looked into the camera to say their confessions, members Yerin and Sowon especially shed tears as they expressed their feelings.

Yuju said, “Whether you see us or not, we are always with all of you. Let’s continue going together for not just two years, but 10, 20 years into the future as well.” Umji then said, “We are able to work hard during promotions because of our fans. I want to have more days together in the future.”

Eunha then expressed, “It’s been two years since we came into the light. Thank you so much to all of our fans who love us.” SinB shared, “It’s been a really long time since I wrote a letter on our fan cafe. There’s not much time left in the future. Let’s go make more happy memories together.”

Sowon then said, “There is so much we haven’t shown you yet. I want to be with the fans for a long time. I really love you.” Finally, Yerin said, “For the past two years, surprises kept happening consecutively. I just want to say one thing. I am so grateful to our fans, to our members, and to our agency.”
