I.O.I's Final Single "Downpour" Tops Major Music Charts

I.O.I has dominated the music charts with their newest and final single, “Downpour.”

“Downpour” was released on January 18, and rose to first place on Melon, Mnet, Soribada, Olleh Music, Genie, Bugs, Naver Music, and Monkey 3 by 6 a.m. KST that same day.

This song is I.O.I’s first try at an emotional ballad. Since this is their last single before disbanding, it contains a hopeful message that says this short sad time will pass quickly like a downpour and they will meet again someday. SEVENTEEN’s Woozi gave this song as a gift and souvenir to fans to thank them for loving I.O.I all this time.

I.O.I will hold their last concert “I.O.I Time Slip” on January 20, 21, and 22, wrapping up their 10-month promotion as a group. They will also perform “Downpour” for the very first time during the concert.
