Watch: Henry Proudly Shows Off His Open Style Concept Home That He Designed Himself
Super Junior member Henry impressed the cast members of “I Live Alone” with his home that he had designed and furnished by himself!
The January 20 episode of the MBC show featured a look into Henry’s home, which featured an open style concept, free of any walls that separate the differing rooms. The modern kitchen and wide open spaces is different from how most of the homes in Korea look.
Henry revealed, “I made and designed this by myself. I even made the brick walls,” as he suddenly stopped the interview to bring and show off the design that he did.
He shared his reason for constructing his home, saying, “I go abroad a lot and stay in hotels frequently and so I wanted to make my home in Korea. I wanted a home that represented my style but there wasn’t one that I wanted.”
The cast members raved at his interior design, with Jun Hyun Moo remarking, “You really did some work with the interior,” and Han Hye Jin saying, “It looks like I’m looking at a really large studio space!”
In the broadcast, it showed Henry as he was getting up in the morning. As soon as he woke up, he shouted, “Up!” When he said that, the voice-activated window blinds lifted up, as the cast members watched with open mouths.
He also was particularly proud of a pipe that he had designed into the wall of his living space. When the cast members asked what its purpose was, he showed how it served as a place for him to massage his shoulder.
During the rest of the broadcast, it showed Henry riding his bike around the city. Unlike many other celebrities, he did not cover his face and when he was recognized by people, he gladly took pictures with them as well.
Ever the positive spirit, Henry revealed, “No matter where I go, I ride my bike. I take lots of pictures with fans who recognize me. Although its not a lot of work for me [when I take a picture with them], it makes others really happy and that makes me happy as well.
