Ji Suk Jin Holds Back Tears During Wife's Touching Letter At Their "Running Man" Remind Wedding
Ji Suk Jin and his wife were serving up major couple goals in this week’s episode of “Running Man.”
The episode of SBS’s “Running Man” that aired on January 22 was titled, “Big Nose’s Week” and had the members try to escape from a prison to make it in time for a remind wedding between Ji Suk Jin and his wife, Ryu Soo Jung.
Although Ji Suk Jin had red and green dye in his hair because he had failed a few of his missions, his wife smiled and said he looked great anyway.
She read out a letter she had written for the ceremony, and Ji Suk Jin was holding back tears as she said, “To my loving husband. It’s already been 20 years since I met you as a young and immature 24-year-old, and you went from my ‘Oppa’ to Hyun Woo’s dad after I gave birth to Hyun Woo.”
She also stated, “Though we used to fight a lot, these days, we’re busy making sure the other is taking their medicine instead of fighting. You are my best friend for life, protecting us from the perilous world, coming running whenever I call, and knowing so much about me.”
Ryu Soo Jung ended with, “They say there’s no road to happiness, that the road itself is happiness. As long as our family stays on that road and looks straight on as we go forward, our life will be shining and beautiful. Please keep sharing with me your unchanging friendship. I love you.”
Kim Jong Kook and Haha were tasked with singing a congratulatory song. While Kim Jong Kook showcased his melodious voice, Haha had everyone dancing with a reggae number.
After the wedding, Ryu Soo Jung stated, “I’m grateful that he has planted himself by my side like a sturdy tree. I hope we never age and continue to live healthy and happy lives. I love you, honey.”
