Super Junior's Sungmin Talks About Military Service And Upcoming Musical While VIXX's Ken Fanboys In The Background

On January 26, BTOB’s Changsub, VIXX’s Ken, and Super Junior’s Lee Sungmin appeared as guests on the MBC FM4U radio show hosted by Kim Shin Young to promote their upcoming musical, “Boys Over Flowers.”

Kim Shin Young brought up Sungmin’s recent discharge from his mandatory military service, saying, “It’s been a long time. I heard it from Shindong. I heard that you, Shindong, and Eunhyuk sang ‘Sorry Sorry’ together.”

The host and guests listened to the song “Sorry Sorry” together and Sungmin commented, “Listening to that makes me feel like I’m in the army again.”

VIXX’s Ken here made a pun on the words for ‘luggage’ and ‘coolness’ to compliment his senior, saying, “I think Sungmin looks cooler than ever now that he’s back from the army.”

Sungmin also touched on the topic of their upcoming musical. “I don’t have a lot of makeup,” he revealed. “I’m pretty much as I am most of the time.”

He added, “[My singing method] wasn’t really suited for pop songs. It’s a bit weak in that area, but I think it’s well-suited for musicals. After I did my first musical, I kept being told not to talk like I’m in a musical all the time. When I sing pop songs, I get told not to sing it like a musical too.”
