BTS's V Live Channel Becomes 1st To Surpass 4 Million Followers

Only a few months after BTS celebrated reaching 3 million followers on V Live last September, their channel has already gained another million fans!

On January 28, BTS’s channel on Naver’s V Live became the first on the site to reach the milestone of 4 million followers.

In a V Live broadcast on January 24, the guys were amazed to learn that out of their 3.96 million followers at the time, over 2.8 million fans lived outside of Korea. The group also has the most followers from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Oceania out of all channels on the site, while the top three countries their subscribers are from are Korea, China, and Thailand.

In the past, the guys have celebrated reaching 2 and 3 million followers by going live on the site. During their January 24 broadcast, BTS talked about what they might do to celebrate the 4 million follower milestone. They agreed that they should do a live broadcast again, and came up with the idea of having each of them take turns doing their own personal shows (such as Jin’s eating broadcast “Eat Jin” and J-Hope’s dancing show “Hope on the Street”) for one minute, and then mix them all together at the end.

As BTS has been taking a short break for the Lunar New Year holiday and is also preparing for their comeback in just over two weeks, fans may have to wait a bit for this potential celebration video!

BTS will be making a return with their new album “WINGS: You Never Walk Alone” on February 13.

Congrats to BTS on achieving another milestone!
