"2017 Idol Star Athletics Championships" Wins The Holiday Ratings Race

On January 31, television ratings company TNMS released its findings from a survey of about 9,000 people across the country. The survey was taken during the Lunar New Year holidays from January 27 to 31.

According to the results, MBC’s “2017 Idol Star Athletics Championships” was the most popular among those in their teens, with an audience rating of 5.3 percent.

Furthermore, part two of the Lunar New Year special garnered an average viewership rating of 12.2 percent for all age groups, earning the first place rank among the programs that aired during the holidays.

The annual event featured various idol groups such as EXO, SEVENTEEN, BTS, TWICE, Apink, GFRIEND, Red Velvet, MONSTA X, EXID, VIXX, B.A.P, B1A4, AOA, Lovelyz, Oh My Girl, ASTRO, Cosmic Girls, and more.
