Watch: Ku Hye Sun Goes Through Many Struggles Trying To Recreate Husband Ahn Jae Hyun's Proposal Event

In “The Lovebirds: Year 1,” Ku Hye Sun has a hard time trying to do something romantic for her new husband Ahn Jae Hyun!

At the beginning of the clip, Ku Hye Sun spreads out an array of snacks in the trunk of their car in imitation of Ahn Jae Hyun’s proposal to her in May, when he arranged a flower display for her in the back of his car. 

“The one thing we don’t have here are snacks,” she explained. “My husband really likes snacks.” The event was doubly meaningful because Ku Hye Sun has previously stated that she does not personally like romantic events. 

However, when she returns to the house, she goes through many struggles trying to get him to go out and look at the car. Her suggestion that he help her carry things from the car failed miserably when he was more absorbed in making dinner than picking up on her hints.

In her attempt to get him to go to the car, she pretends to get mad at him, which Ahn Jae Hyun nervously tries to soothe with a cup of tea. Eventually he goes out to the car and has an adorable reaction to what he finds there.
