Namgoong Min Thanks Viewers For Earning "Chief Kim" The Top Spot In Time Slot

Actor Namgoong Min expressed his gratitude to viewers as KBS’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “Chief Kim” topped its time slot in just four episodes.

“Chief Kim” is the story of Kim Sung Ryong (played by Namgoong Min), an accountant who joins a conglomerate in the hopes of making more money, only to be met with a flood of difficulties.

Namgoong Min’s comical acting and screenwriter Park Jae Beom’s refreshing script is being met with a positive response from viewers. Episode 4 aired on February 2 and scored nationwide ratings of 13.8 percent, putting it at the top of its Wednesday-Thursday time slot. The drama has almost doubled in ratings since its first episode.

Regarding this, Namgoong Min stated, “‘Chief Kim’ was able to come in at first place in its time slot thanks to all the love the viewers are giving it. That’s giving me more strength to work harder on set, and I think I will be able to repay the viewers with better acting.”

The actor continued to add, “All of the cast and crew of ‘Chief Kim’ will do our best to repay our viewers, so please continue to give us your love and attention.”
