Super Junior's Shindong Recalls Time He And EXO's Baekhyun Played League Of Legends, With Hilarious Conclusion
It’s no secret that EXO’s Baekhyun is an avid gamer, and that he loves to play with other people (like Kim Heechul), but playing with Shindong is a different story.
During his guest appearance on the February 6 episode of Super Junior’s Shindong talked about Lee Seung Gi’s intense exercise routine, his fondness for his Red Velvet juniors, and a gaming memory he has with EXO’s Baekhyun.
He revealed that the younger singer had once invited him to play League of Legends together. Before moving on to the rest of the story, Shindong explained to the other guests and hosts that when a team loses in League of Legends, every team member loses points. He added, “Some people get really sensitive about [the game] because of the points system.”
“I told him, ‘I’m really bad at this game. What if you lose just because you were on the same team as me?’ But Baekhyun just replied, “It’s no big deal; it’s just a game. It’s not like we put our lives on the line for it,” Shindong said. Expressing that he was touched by Baekhyun’s sentiment, he went to talk about how Baekhyun tried to direct him over the headset on where he should attack, but they eventually lost.
While Baekhyun encouraged him that it was alright, they ended up losing again during the second round. “You could hear the frustrating ‘tak tak tak’ sound [of his keyboard] when we lost,” the Super Junior member said, while laughing about how Baekhyun just sighed.
Shindong then hilariously joked, “I logged in the next day and I saw that Baekhyun was online. So I sent him a message, ‘Oh Baekhyun!’ But there was no reply. Since then, he has never responded whenever I send him an invitation.”
Are you more like Baekhyun or Shindong when it comes to games?
