Park Jin Young Writes Heartfelt Message To Wonder Girls As They Part Ways
Park Jin Young, the head of JYP Entertainment, had a heartwarming final message for Wonder Girls.
The singer posted the cover art for Wonder Girls’s last single “Draw Me” on his Instagram and wrote, “Wonder Girls, beautiful and special young girls. Humble, diligent, pure, and wise. They started with the music that I made, but finished on top with music they created.”
He concluded his statement with encouragement as he added, “It’s another step, a new page in your lives, but don’t be scared. As long as you stay true to who you are, the world will know how special you are.”
Wonder Girls announced their disbandment on January 26, and released their final track “Draw Me” on February 10. It is a song that reflects the gratitude they feel for the fans who have been with them for the past ten years.
Yubin and Hyerim have resigned with JYP Entertainment, while Yeeun and Sunmi have decided to leave.
