"Running Man" To Feature Production Staff's Week For Upcoming Episode

Following special episodes modeled after the wishes of cast members, this week’s episode of “Running Man” will feature the requests from the production staff!

On February 11, the production director of the show, Lee Hwan Jin, announced to news outlets that, “this week’s episode will be the production staff’s week.”

For the last several episodes, “Running Man” has been featuring “Member’s Week,” in which the cast members each took a week as the protagonist of the show. For Kim Jong Kook‘s week, for example, the episode showed the Sparta Commander taking on a much more gentle side as he went on a blind date. The only members left to have their special weeks are Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Kwang Soo.

The filming that took place on February 6 was revealed to have been for the production staff’s week and on the 7th, it was for Yoo Jae Suk’s week. Lee Kwang Soo is now the only member left to have his special episode.

Lee Hwan Jin gave more details about this upcoming episode, revealing, “The production staff’s week will have a competition between Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Kwang Soo. We did what the staff wanted to do.”

He continued, “The chemistry between the cast members has been warm so far but for this week’s episode, you’ll be able to see an evil image to the members. You’ll see the exciting fun that you’ve come to associate with the show.”
