Kim Heechul Addresses Gender Identity Rumor

During the February 11 episode of JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything,” Kim Heechul’s fellow Super Junior members Leeteuk and Shindong, who were the guests of the day, shared an interesting incident that happened in their chat room.

Apparently, someone had uploaded a post which said that there’s a top star “A” who has been appearing on various variety programs recently, and that A has realised his gender identity. It also mentioned that A had been confused about his gender identity, after he found that even though he is close to girl groups, he doesn’t feel that way about them.

Kim Heechul said that he had been really curious about A’s identity, but he got a huge shock when he reached the end and saw “A is Kim Heechul.”

Leeteuk then revealed that the members also asked Kim Heechul if he had been lying to them about his gender identity, which made the latter feel a sense of betrayal.
