Following the successful release of their duet “Rain,” SISTAR’s Soyou and EXO’s Baekhyun have released a video that takes fans behind the scenes on how the song was made.

Along with footage of the two idols recording the duet, the two sit down to discuss the song. On how they felt about working together, both expressed excitement and anticipation for their duet, and were eager to hear what the final product of their collaboration would sound like.

On what he thought about the song when he first heard it, Baekhyun said that it’s a genre that he likes, and he thinks that people will enjoy. He explained, “I found that people tend to have go-to songs for when it rains, and I think this song will be one of them.” Soyou also added that it’s a song that will bring up a lot of old memories if you listen to it watching the rain fall.

When asked to choose lyrics that they like the most, Baekhyun highlighted “You worried about me and embraced me till the very end,” while Soyou chose, “The distance between you and I was one that allowed me to feel even the slightest tremble,” as she believed it really helped visualize how close the couple in the song stood under their shared umbrella.
