Dean Says People Constantly Mistake Him For Rapper DinDin

Dean wants everyone to know that he and rapper DinDin are not the same person!

On February 21, the singer made an appearance on MBC Standard FM radio show “Kangta’s Starry Night” to promote his latest single “come over.”

During the broadcast, host Kangta asked Dean to share the most memorable comment he has seen at the bottom of one of the online articles about him.

“‘DinDin?,'” he quickly responded, making others in the studio laugh, as “Dean” and the repeated syllables in “DinDin” are written the same in Korean. “DinDin has been appearing on television a lot these days, so it seems like a lot of people click on an article about me expecting to read one about him.”

Kangta then asked Dean if there were any words he would like to say to DinDin at the moment, to which he eloquently obliged.

“When DinDin suggested we work together, I said no,” Dean admitted. “However, at the time, I couldn’t because I was busy with my solo projects. Moving forward, if the opportunity arises, I would like to create music with him.”
