Wonder Girls' Hyelim Shares Student ID Photo As She Prepares To Enter University
It looks like Hyelim is excited to be getting ready to pursue another of her interests!
On February 26, Hyelim showed off her student ID photo to Instagram, showing her excitement about her upcoming first semester by calling herself a “freshman.”
Hyelim is a member of the recently disbanded but forever beloved K-Pop group Wonder Girls, who released their final single “Draw Me” earlier this month. Prior to the announcement of the group’s disbandment, it was confirmed by JYP Entertainment in December that Hyelim had been accepted into the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. She will be studying interpretation at the school’s department of English for International Conferences and Communication.
Hyelim was born in Korea but spent 14 years of her life living in Hong Kong, and speaks Korean, English, Mandarin, and Cantonese fluently, making this major a great fit for her.
Although Wonder Girls disbanded when their contracts expired earlier this year, Hyelim made the decision to renew her contract with JYP Entertainment and thus also remains an artist under the agency.
