Rain And Kang Sora Offered Lead Roles In New Korean Independence Film

Singer Rain and actress Kang Sora are in talks to star in a new historical film together called “Uhm Bok Dong” (tentative title).

This film is based on the true story of Uhm Bok Dong, who was one of the heroes during the Japanese colonial era in Korea. It deals with Korea’s independence movement and will be produced by actor Lee Beom Soo, who will also be starring in the film as Uhm Bok Dong’s teacher named Hwang Jae Ho.

According to industry sources on March 3, “Rain and Kang Sora have been offered roles in the film, but they have not decided yet. We know they are looking over it favorably.”
