BTS's Rap Monster Shares A Listen To "WINGS" In Its Beginning Stages
BTS leader Rap Monster has gifted fans with a listen to a track he was working on for their “WINGS” album back in the beginning, long before the album was completed and went on to become a massive hit!
On March 8, Rap Monster tweeted a video of a music composition program playing a track that already had the title “WINGS,” featuring himself both singing and rapping. He wrote as the caption, “‘WINGS’ first draft that I made when first working on the ‘WINGS’ album, my guide version.”

Shortly after, he tweeted another version of the same song, with Jungkook’s vocals this time around. He explained in the caption, “And this is how it changes when Jungkook comes and quickly sings it.”

Rap Monster also clarified that this is not the same song entitled “WINGS” that ended up being included in their “WINGS” album as the interlude and “You Never Walk Alone” as the outro. He writes, “Ah, just so you know, this is a totally different song than the current ‘WINGS’.. This is one of the tracks that I made at first when I was trying out various things.”
아 참고로 지금 윙스와는 전혀 다른 노래랍니다.. 제가 이것저것 해보고자 처음에 만들어봤던 것 중 한 트랙입니다 🤢😂

BTS’s second full album “WINGS” was released in October of 2016, and smashed records for K-pop groups by charting at No. 26 on the Billboard 200, as well as became the highest-selling album ever recorded on Gaon Chart.
Some of its many awards include Best Album Award at the 26th Seoul Music Awards and the Album of the Year award for the fourth quarter at the 6th Gaon Chart Music Awards. It was also voted by Soompiers as the Album of the Year in the 12th Annual Soompi Awards!
BTS recently wrapped up promotions for the repackage of “WINGS” entitled “You Never Walk Alone,” and will soon be embarking on their “WINGS” world tour.
