Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung is set to be the first host for “SNL Korea” season nine.

Sooyoung held an interview with the production team, saying, “I enjoyed watching Tiffany host an episode from the seventh season. It made me think that I should do better than Tiffany,” showing her desire to host well. Sooyoung also added, “I will be able to try any kind of character.”

The production team stated, “Sooyoung is overflowing with enthusiasm and she has good variety skills, so we are expecting to see some good synergy with her and ‘SNL Korea.’ We are confident that viewers will really enjoy watching her new transformation.”

Meanwhile, Sooyoung will be hosting the upcoming episode of “SNL Korea,” which is set to air on March 25 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
