Highlight Celebrates Music Chart Success Of "Plz Don't Be Sad" By Sharing New Photos
Highlight has been doing great on the charts with their latest title track, and Around Us Entertainment has posted on Instagram to thank fans!
Highlight’s mini album “Can You Feel It?” was released on March 20 at noon KST as the group’s first release since they decided not to pursue a legal battle with Cube Entertainment over their former name BEAST. The mini album features the title track “Plz Don’t Be Sad,” and you can watch the music video for the song here.
On March 21 at 12:30 a.m. KST, “Plz Don’t Be Sad” reached the No. 1 spot on five major realtime charts, including Melon, olleh, Soribada, Genie, and Naver. It maintained the No. 1 on those spots as of 1:30 a.m., and also was at No. 2 on the remaining three realtime charts: Mnet, Bugs, and Monkey3.
Shortly after the song reached No. 1 on Melon, Around Us Entertainment posted a photo of the guys to Instagram and congratulated the “CEOs of the rookie group Highlight” on reaching the top spot on “the foreign green fruit’s realtime chart.”
They continued, “We dedicate this honor to our fandom ‘Fandom Name Undecided’ who have been working so hard all day for this moment.”
The caption goes on to say that both Around Us Entertainment and “the CEOs” will keep working hard in the future. “We’re really grateful for today, and it was really fun,” they say.
The agency’s Instagram has also shared more photos of the guys to celebrate!
