Im Siwan Discusses His Plans For Military Enlistment

On March 23, Im Siwan sat down for an interview about his upcoming movie “One Line” and mentioned his plans for military enlistment.

“I want to make my fans feel like my absence isn’t too long, and I think it’s only right for me to keep showing myself to them while I’m in the army as well,” he stated, demonstrating how much he cares about his fans.

He continued, “If it weren’t for that, I honestly don’t want to put off my enlistment anymore. I wanted to go soon, but it wasn’t easy since I had to settle things with my agency. Now, it makes me feel like I’m the only one who hasn’t done his homework, while everyone else has already finished theirs. I’m aiming to enlist after finishing the drama I’m working on, if possible.”

He is currently filming pre-produced drama “The King Loves” and is expecting the release of his films “One Line” on March 29 and “The Merciless” later this year. It is said that he is thinking of enlisting around the end of this year or the beginning of next year.

Meanwhile, his ZE:A teammate and close friend Kwanghee recently enlisted in the army and is currently receiving basic military training.
