"Whisper" Premieres At The Top Of Its Time Slot In Viewership Ratings

SBS continues its streak on Mondays and Tuesdays as Ji Sung passes on the baton to his wife, Lee Bo Young.

SBS’s “Whisper” premiered on March 27 following the end of “Defendant” last week, and marking 13.9 percent in viewership ratings, according to a report by Nielsen Korea released the next day. By the smallest margin, this means “Whisper” officially started off at the top of its time slot, beating out its competitors.

However, the competition is far from over. MBC’s “Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People” closed the gap by marking 13.8 percent. Meanwhile, KBS’s “Perfect Wife” recorded 6.4 percent.

These percentages are a personal best for both dramas, which means the question then becomes, can “Whisper” maintain its position at the top?
