SM Responds To Reports About f(x) Member Krystal's Possible Solo Album

Earlier today, a media source reported that f(x)’s Krystal was preparing to release a solo track sometime this spring. There has been continuous talk about Krystal’s solo album as it has been eight years since the singer’s debut with f(x) back in 2009. Fellow members Luna and Amber have previously done solo promotions, which added to the speculations.

However, SM Entertainment denied these statements by saying that there were no formal plans in place. A representative from SM Entertainment said, “The rumors about Krystal’s solo album release are false. Currently, she is focused solely on preparing for her upcoming drama.”

Krystal recently joined Nam Joo Hyuk, Shin Se Kyung, and Gong Myung in the cast for tvN’s upcoming fantasy drama, “Bride of the Water God.”

We hope for Krystal’s solo debut someday in the future, but meanwhile, we wish her the best of luck in her current activities!
