Lee Dong Gook's Children Move Him With Thoughtful Words And Gesture On "The Return Of Superman"

On the March 2 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman,” Lee Dong Gook and his three children, Seol Ah, Soo Ah, and Daebak shared a touching moment.

On the show, the three children climbed a mountain for the first time. At the end of the day, Lee Dong Gook said, “I’ll wash your feet.”

After sitting the three children down side by side, he washed each of their feet. When he got to Seol Ah, he realized that she had a blister on her foot, but she had climbed the mountain without complaining. He expressed how proud he was of her.

After he finished, Seol Ah said, “We’ll wash daddy’s feet too. You must be tired too.” Lee Dong Gook was completely touched by this, and allowed his children to wash his feet.

As they washed his feet with their tiny hands, he said, “You’re all grown up,” looking like he might be choking up a bit. Soo Ah notices bruises on his toes and said, “Don’t get hurt while you play soccer.”

Lee Dong Gook said in the interview afterwards, “When I saw my feet for the first time after the game yesterday, I noticed that I got stepped on and there was a bruise. It felt so nice that the children washed my feet for me and I thought that I would be able to have a good season with the children without getting hurt.”
