Eli's Wife Tearfully Opens Up About Having To Hide Marriage And Pregnancy

The wife of U-KISS’s Eli has revealed her feelings on having to hide her marriage and pregnancy from the media.

During the April 5 episode of KBS2’s “Mr. House Husband,” both Eli and his wife reflected on the moment he finally went public with their relationship back in December 2015.

“I had to hide my pregnancy, marriage, and everything so that it wouldn’t damage my idol husband’s reputation. No one could ever know,” Eli’s wife commented during her solo interview, shedding tears. “I couldn’t risk visiting an obstetrician or having an ultrasound. I could only determine I was pregnant through home pregnancy tests.”

“I found myself in a lot of dangerous situations because of my really poor health back then. I was afraid that my baby wouldn’t be able to thrive. My husband knew how I felt and shared the news about our marriage and the pregnancy on social media while I was sleeping,” she continued, while expressing her gratitude.

In another part of the episode, Eli revealed that fatherhood has changed his life for the better.

“Our son Min Soo has saved me as a man, a husband, and a father,” he explained. “Without Min Soo, I don’t think my wife and I would have made it to where we are today.”
