Comedian Yoo Sang Moo Gives Update On Treatment For Cancer

Comedian Yoo Sang Moo, who had been diagnosed with colorectal cancer, announced the results of his recent surgery.

On April 10, his agency Koen Stars stated, “Yoo Sang Moo is currently recovering from his surgery that had lasted for about four hours. They say that the surgery went well. He will be undergoing chemotherapy along with any other follow-up treatment, depending on his progress. We’re thankful that so many people have expressed their concerns for him.”

Prior to the surgery, Yoo Sang Moo apologized on his personal social media account, writing, “I became a comedian to make people laugh, but I’m only causing worry. I will get surgery and become healthy again so I can return as a comedian who can cheer people up.”
