MBC Addresses "We Got Married" Cancellation Reports

On April 13, a source from MBC said that there has been no decision to cancel the variety show “We Got Married.” They denied previous media reports of the show’s cancellation.

The source explained further, “It is time to reorganize and we are preparing a pilot program. One consideration to result from this process was cancellation of a long-running program. However, specific programs have not been discussed in regard to cancellation.”

“We Got Married” has been on the air since March 2008. The program depicts virtual marriages of celebrity couples, documenting couples as they go through different “marriage milestones” and experiences together.
