BOYS24's Unit Black Shares How They Feel About "Produce 101 Season 2"

The competition is still not over for the remaining 27 boys from “Boys24.”

The survival continues even now, long after the TV show is finished, as they hold weekly live stages and compete for votes.

The first BOYS24 unit to debut, Unit Black, will be active for about three months. A second unit will be chosen afterwards, and only after that will the final debut team for BOYS24 be chosen. This means that the competition is over a year long for the boys.

While the program itself forced the boys into a ruthless competition, they have also become almost like family in that long time they’ve spent together.

The Unit Black members said, “It would be a lie to say that we’re not sorry to the other members who weren’t chosen for Unit Black. But it means that we’ll carry the responsibility to make BOYS24 be known.”

Interestingly, Unit Black debuted at the same time “Produce 101 Season 2” gained traction. Since they know better than anyone how tough competing is, they had thoughts to share about “Produce 101 Season 2.”

They expressed, “It’s true that ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ is getting a lot more attention than we did. There are people from ‘Boys24’ who are now on ‘Produce 101.’ But as contestants from a survival show, we’re cheering them on. We hope to engage in a healthy competition with them!”
