The day has finally arrived!

On the April 18 broadcast of tvN’s drama “The Liar and His Lover,” Lee Hyun Woo and Red Velvet’s Joy finally showcased a scene that many have undeniably been waiting for ever since their casting was announced.

This particular episode was chock-full of up-and-down moments, as Kang Han Kyul (Lee Hyun Woo) and Yoon So Rim (Joy) experience everything from their first official date to misunderstandings.

After a series of events, Crude Play and Mush & Co end up heading on a trip together in order to bolster camaraderie. Kang Han Kyul may have meant to spend more quality time with Yoon So Rim on the first evening of the trip, but one drink too many and their plans to walk on the beach together had to be canceled as he was carried away, drunk out of his mind.

While they couldn’t spend time together the previous evening, Kang Han Kyul took Yoon So Rim on a refreshing seaside date the following morning. During their bike ride, she asked him to sing for her, and then commented, “It’s beating fast. Your heart, that is.”

As he shyly replied, “Of course it is. I’m with a girl I like,” Yoon So Rim sweetly confessed that she liked him from the very beginning. Touched by her words, Kang Han Kyul stopped pedaling, before turning around to initiate a kiss.
