Apink’s Jung Eun Ji Describes The Legacy She Wants To Leave
Apink’s Jung Eun Ji recently sat down for an interview to talk about her solo comeback.
When asked how she was able to pull off the folk pop genre, she responded, “I listened to the radio a lot since I was young. I think I’m a bit old-fashioned as a person so it just naturally bled into my music.”
The singer was then asked about the difference between Apink’s Jung Eun Ji and the solo Jung Eun Ji. She explained that as a member of Apink, she has to discuss with the other members to decide on the kind of music they want to release as a team, while as a solo, she has much more freedom when it comes to choosing the music she wants to create.
She concluded her interview by explaining what kind of singer she wanted to become. “I want my music to remain in people’s memories, and I want to create music that people would want to listen to again and again. I want to be remembered as a singer who was always able to cheer people up,” she expressed.
