Comedienne Hong Hyun Hee Personally Apologizes For Use Of Blackface In SBS Skit

After SBS’s “Comedy Hunter” officially apologized for their recent skit, comedienne Hong Hyun Hee also released an apology.

On April 26, she posted a message on her Instagram that said, “I am very sorry and apologetic towards those who were hurt by my thoughtless skit. I will try to be more careful and work harder so that I can provide healthier laughs in the future.”

Meanwhile, Hong Hyun Hee’s skit previously received criticism for its use of blackface, which led to responses by Sam Hammington, Hwang Hyun Hee, and Sam Okyere.
