Namgoong Min Talks About Getting Older, Paying Taxes, And Winning At Award Ceremonies

On April 29, Namgoong Min appeared as a guest on KBS 2TV’s “Entertainment Weekly” and talked about his age, earnings for the year, and his hopes of winning at the end-of-year award ceremony.

The first topic of conversation was Namgoong Min’s surprising age. The actor commented, “I’m turning 40 years old this year. There’s no need to hide it,” and continued, “After I finished filming for ‘Chief Kim,’ I went to the hospital for a health check-up. The doctor told me that I am very healthy.”

During the interview, Namgoong Min also touched upon the topic of his earnings. “I’ve been busy recently because I have another drama that I am starting to film for. I think I’ll be paying a lot in taxes this year,” the actor joked.

Finally, when the reporter said, “If award season was in June, Namgoong Min would win the award for actor of the year,” Namgoong Min replied, “Unfortunately, the award ceremonies are in December.” However, when the reporter brought up how “Descendants of the Sun” ended around the same time as “Chief Kim” and was able to win at the awards, Namgoong Min amused viewers by showing a glint of hope in his eyes.
