“Produce 101 Season 2” has managed to keep its position as the TV program with the highest rank on the Content Power Index (CPI).

According to the CPI rankings released by CJ E&M and Nielsen Korea for the third week of April (April 17 to April 23), Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 2” was in first place.

“Produce 101 Season 2” is a survival program where 101 male trainees battle it out to win the hearts of viewers and get enough votes to debut as a member of a new idol group. Season 2 has been receiving a lot of love following season 1, which brought I.O.I to the K-pop scene.

The show was followed by tvN’s “Youn’s Kitchen” in second place and SBS’s “My Ugly Duckling,” which jumped up 13 spots to come in at third place. Others on the list included SBS’s “Whisper,” MBC’s “Infinite Challenge,” KBS 2TV’s “Happy Together,” MBC’s “Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People,” KBS 2TV’s “Perfect Wife,” KBS 2TV’s “Mystery Queen,” and MBC’s “We Got Married,”

The CPI was co-created by CJ E&M and Nielsen Korea to measure the influence and power of contents based on consumer activity.
