Okasian Signs Exclusive Contract With YG’s The Black Label
Last year’s “Gayo Daejun” might not be the last time we see Okasian collaborating with YG artists!
The Black Label confirmed that they have signed the rapper, and a source from the agency revealed, “Okasian is under an exclusive contract with The Black Label. The Black Label will be helping Okasian continue his musical development.”
Contract discussions began sometime last year with the contract being finalized on May 2.
The Black Label was founded last year by YG producer Teddy. Other artists signed to the label include Kush and Zion.T.
Okasian, whose real name is Kim Ji Yong, first made his debut in 2011 with the album, “Boarding Procedures.” Back in December, the rapper joined CL, G-Dragon, and “Show Me The Money 5” winner BeWhy for a rap collaboration on the 2016 “Gayo Daejun” stage, where they performed the original song “₩1,000,000.”
