WINNER's Lee Seung Hoon Reveals The Truth Behind His Supposed Nickname

On May 9, WINNER’s Lee Seung Hoon and Kim Jin Woo appeared on the MBC FM4U radio show “Jung Yoo Mi’s FM Date.”

During the show, Jung Yoo Mi said to Lee Seung Hoon, “Someone says they saw you recently on Jeju Island.”

Lee Seung Hoon explained, “I wasn’t there on vacation. Our president was there and we had a business meeting.”

He was also asked if it was true that he had a business card printed with his nickname as “deputy head” of YG Entertainment.

“Honestly, it’s because Kang Seung Yoon learned to exaggerate his words from the comedians at our agency,” Lee Seung Hoon said. “Whenever he says something, he adds too much MSG. Calling me the deputy head is definitely exaggerating. It’s true that I have that nickname but it’s a joke. I made the business card for fun and I don’t actually have that position.”

Jung Yoo Mi commented, “Still, it seems like you have a lot of love for your president,” but Lee Seung Hoon said, “I have more love for WINNER.”
