Super Junior's Kim Hee Chul And Psy To Go Head-To-Head In An Epic Dance-Off On "Ask Us Anything"

It looks like Psy might need to give his dancing king crown to someone else!

JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” is set to feature an appearance by the global phenomenon, Psy. To celebrate his comeback, Psy will be appearing in a variety show for the first time in five years, and it was evident that he was feeling the nerves.

To feel more at ease, Psy turned to what he’s known for and challenged the members to a dance-off. The game was built off the dance-off game Rain had introduced during his appearance on the show, and required the members to guess the name of the song and dance after hearing a one-second clip. Though Psy felt confident that he could beat the cast of “Ask Us Anything,” the tables were turned when he started losing.

He was especially surprised by Kim Hee Chul, the show’s resident dance machine. Even when Psy got the answer right and started dancing, Kim Hee Chul would dance along and steal the spotlight, causing Psy to lose his confidence as the game progressed.

Kang Ho Dong laughed and noted, “I’ve known Psy for 17 years and I’ve never seen him look so discouraged.” However, it has been said that once Psy realized how good the cast was, his competitive side came out and he started racking up points, leading to an epic showdown.

Psy and Kim Hee Chul’s dance-off will be shown on JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” at 8:50 p.m. KST on May 13.
