Kriesha Chu's Debut Album Revealed To Feature And Have Been Produced By Highlight's Yong Junhyung

Last month, it was announced that Kriesha Chu, who finished as a runner-up on “K-Pop Star 6” as part of the three-member girl group KWINS, would be making her solo debut in May.

On May 15, Kriesha Chu released a teaser image for her title track, which is titled “Trouble.” In the image, Kriesha Chu can be seen wearing oversized sporty clothing, giving off a casual, almost girl-crush vibe, which is heightening anticipation for what her debut song will be like.

Furthermore, on May 16, the track list for Kriesha Chu’s debut single album was released, revealing the title of her other song, “I Want It To Be You” (literal translation). Additionally, it was also revealed that producing duo “Good Life,” which is made up of Highlight’s Yong Junhyung and producer Kim Tae Joo, produced both songs for Kriesha’s debut. Yong Junhyung will also be featuring as a rapper on Kriesha’s sub-track “I Want It To Be You.”

“I Want It To Be You” will be a minimal pop R&B track with a dreamy synth sound, with Yong Junhyung featuring in both the chorus and rap breakdown of the song. Her title track “Trouble” will be a dance pop song with a powerful rhythm and memorable brass line.

Meanwhile, Kriesha Chu also opened up a V-Live channel ahead of her debut.
