IU To Help Lee Hyori Welcome Guests To Her Jeju Home In JTBC's "Hyori's Homestay"

Filming has begun for Lee Hyori’s new JTBC reality show “Hyori’s Homestay” (literal title) and guests are in luck as IU will be working as a staff member at the home.

The staff of “Hyori’s Homestay” explained that IU will be working with Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon to greet guests and experience life on Jeju Island, something that many city dwellers wish for.

PD Jung Hyo Min stated, “Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon had been thinking of looking for someone to spend time with them on Jeju Island and help them out as it would be difficult to run the house by themselves.”

She added, “IU and Lee Hyori always greet each other when they meet at broadcasting studios, but they aren’t that close. We asked IU if she would like to be on the program because we felt like she and Lee Hyori have things in common and would probably get along. She was more than happy to accept the offer without hesitation, and she said she made the decision based on her respect and affection for Lee Hyori.”

Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon will be opening up their own home for guests in JTBC’s “Hyori’s Homestay.” Not only will they be providing people with beds, food, and other amenities, but they will also get to know their guests and create many fond memories together.
